DRYSCAPES TIP As oriental poppies are so spectacular, place them with care. They can be used to keep the eye moving around the garden, pulling it one way then another. Also use them to make strong contrasts, for example against the other plants in your triple pack or other existing colours in your garden. Or simply distribute over a large forgotten area to create a sumptuous country garden feel for bees and butterflies. Or you can even throw them over wasteland to brighten up your walk to work and back!!! |
YOU GET A ‘HANDFUL’ RATHER THAN A PINCH!! Because we have fields full of them in Spain, and we harvest seeds daily 20mls 40,000 seeds 200 mls 400,000 seeds |

Peony poppies are easy to grow and almost thrive on neglect. They like any well-drained soil in a sunny position, but tolerate some variance. Spring is the best time to plant them. They're not very picky about soil, but it must be well drained. Find a sunny location and simply distribute them over the soil. |
