The cactus King - had over 10,000 different named plants in his greenhouses- take out the labels and he could put them all back in, correctly. This man changed the world of Cacti and his yearly catalogues were outstanding in quality, accuracy and information.
I still have a mammillaria bought over 30 years ago! A true inspiration.

A private collector that opened to the public on weekends. Fantastic Euphorbias, Cereus and many rare and wonderfull specimens were watched over by his parrot. The start of my Tartan Cactus Collection.
I still have Euphorbia's that i remember buying as a small boy.
Sadly, both now cease to trade and their contributions will be sadly missed in the Cactus world - i hope you are both well.
