Sun and drought resistant - these colourful gems can grow in any problem areas where nothing else seems to survive the hot Spanish climate. Pet and child friendly. Frost hardy they also have the added bonus of delicate, colourful summer flowers which need no dead-heading. The plants are very 'clean' and need no tidying. They are compact, colourful forms of native spanish and mediterranean species. These plants are compact and root along the stem as they slowly creep along. Never becoming threadbare, they are sturdy and can withstand light 'traffic' - the odd football or wandering pet will do little harm! Plant anywhere - needs no planting-compost adding. No back-breaking digging needed! Just dig 5cm deep, or place on the ground and add 5cm of mulch such as gravel.

These are ideal for planting where little space is available. for example in rockeries, in walls where only crevices are available or in already half planted containers. They have a very well established root system and all the soil it needs to thrive. Bear in mind that the plug of soil is 4-5cm high so planting in shallow places is difficult. For shallower planting use the tiles or rolls.
